Beautification/Green

To date , our group (and with help from others) has completed the following items on behalf of the neighborhood:

  • Helped run the City wide clean up for our neighborhood in April
  • Repaired and painted the “doggy bag” holders in Federal Hill Park
  • Installed 2 new “doggy bag” holders at Robert Baker Park
  • Planted a pilot HERB GARDEN in pots at 126 E. Montgomery St. – It is doing well!
  • Replanted a White Oak Tree in the garden of Robert Baker Park
  • Weeded and planted flowers in 10 large pots in Federal Hill Park
  • Repainted the Federal Hill sign (white) at Light St. and Key Highway
  • Cleaned, weeded, raked, removed debris and trash from both parks and several street areas
  • Painted several park benches in Federal Hill Park

Major future projects include the following:

  • Stenciling storm drains in the neighborhood
  • Painting and seat repair of the “outer” ring of the park benches in Federal Hill Park
  • Several planting and clean up projects
