Kinetic Sculpture Race

Kinetic Sculptures are amphibious, human powered works of art custom built for the race. Each May, the American Visionary Art Museum (AVAM) produces and hosts the East Coast Kinetic Sculpture Race Championship around Baltimore’s Inner Harbor region.  The eight-hour race covers 15 miles—mostly on pavement, but with pitstops along the way in Federal Hill, Canton Waterfront Park, and more.

*The racers will be wrapping around Federal Hill Park from about 9:30am-10:30am, so it is best to get out there about 15 minutes early for the best view.

You can learn more about this year’s race here - come out and support the sculpture race!
