Block Captain Monthly, July

Block Captains and Fellow Neighborhood Enthusiasts, 

BLUF: Free food and cocktails, a new monthly email newsletter, and the search for a new block captain chair. 

1. A bunch of social events!

- Rash Field Park Neighbor Appreciation Night (free food and cocktails for FHNA residents - bring your neighbors). Please RSVP so they can plan for food.

- Federal Hill Fourth of July. Parade goes at 10:30am, starts on 800 William St. 31 years of a great neighborhood tradition!

- Friends and Family Day at Solo Gibbs Park. Great opportunity to meet some neighbors from other neighborhoods, especially Sharp-Leadenhall, with a documentary showing that evening. Starts at 2pm, check the FB group for details!

- FHNA Social at Cheese Galore and More. Wednesday, 19 July, 5:00pm-8:00pm!

2. For the couple block captains who haven't gotten their Peninsula Posts yet, I'll be making deliveries around 10am-12pm on Wednesday! Sorry for the delay. 

3. Our new communications chair is doing a monthly email newsletter for us now. You can receive it by signing up for the FHNA distro on the website. 

4. BGE Gas Regulators: a group of neighbors put some info and a petition/email sign-up against the external regulators, which we're hosting on our Resources page (Control-F "BGE Regulator"). 

5. Lastly, as I am now also the FHNA president, if anyone is particularly interested in taking over as block captain chair, please let me know!
