Block Captain Monthly, March
Block Captains and Fellow Neighborhood Builders
1. If you have concerns with Zeeba Lounge after last Sunday's stabbing and the two shootings and four other violent incidents in the last 18 months, please email the following list of city leaders to voice your concerns. 3-4 sentences - don't overthink it! They care about voters, not dissertations. And please reach out to encourage your neighbors to communicate their concerns as well.
Michael.Harrison@baltimorepolice.org, Michelle.Wirzberger@baltimorepolice.org, alice.kennedy@baltimorecity.gov, Jason.Hessler@baltimorecity.gov, bill.ferguson@senate.state.md.us, luke.clippinger@house.state.md.us, Eric.Costello@baltimorecity.gov, fhna.publicsafety@gmail.com
Two-pager on the Zeeba situation
2. Bistro Lights - Chris Broughton of Canton is 'the guy' in Baltimore for Bistro Lights, and is extremely reasonably priced. You can reach him via text at 410-241-4696 or via Facebook Messenger @Chris Broughton. He only does sidewalk lighting, not over-the-street.
3. Block Captain Annual Dinner - at our last meeting, we discussed the possibility of doing a pot luck in Federal Hill Park in mid-May. If you have another idea, let me know!
