Block Captain Monthly, September

Block captains and fellow neighborhood enthusiasts,

1) FHNA neighborhood cleanup on Saturday, 21 October. The clean-up will be block-based, and is a great excuse for all of us to meet our neighbors and get folks involved in doing good stuff on our blocks. We'll also have coffee, donuts, and cleaning tools and supplies.  If you would like to help with planning, please email Locchanan (CC'ed). 

2) No quarterly meeting in September. Sorry! I was Overcome By Events. Next one will be in November. 

3) Upcoming Events. Two big ones: 

- Catholic Community of South Baltimore's Oktoberfest goes this Saturday (23 September), from 11am-4pm, at Holy Cross Church on the 100 block of E West St. Polka, German food, Oktoberfest beer, etc.!

- FHNA's Cross St Block Party goes next Saturday (30 September) on the pedestrianized portion of Cross St. Live music, games for the kids, cornhole, etc. This is our social committee's biggest effort annually, so if you're interested in volunteering, please email Sheri (CC'ed)!

4) Block Captain Chair. If you'd be potentially willing to take over for me, I'd love to buy you coffee/a beer/a Porsche/etc., and discuss!
